Miss Coburn, Mr. Varner are engaged

Julia Coburn of Boardman, daughter of Rebecca and Donald Coburn Jr. of North Lima, and Aaron Varner, also of Boardman, son of Richard Varner of Youngstown and Connie Bruce of Statesville, N.C., are engaged.

Invitations will be issued for the ceremony May 28, 2016, at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park and for the reception to follow at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, Youngstown.

The bride-elect earned a culinary arts degree from Mahoning County Career and Technical Center and is a graduate of Ohio Valley College of Technology, where she received a degree as a pharmacy technician. She is employed as a chef for the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman.

The prospective groom earned a degree in collision repair at MCCTC. He works for Klaben Ford Lincoln of Warren as a detailer.
