HALLOWEEN EVENTS

A list of Halloween-related events this weekend.

MAHONING COUNTY

Boardman: Quaker Steak & Lube, 435 Boardman-Poland Road, will host a trunk-or-treat event from 5 to 8 p.m. today in conjunction with a car cruise-in. There will be candy and a bounce-around.

Canfield: The Filipino American Organization of Northeastern Ohio will host a Halloween party at 6 p.m. today at Angels for Animals education hall, 4750 W. South Range Road. For information, call 330-793-5387, 330-219-6642 or 330-759-0919. Payments will be accepted at the door. Costumes are encouraged; prizes will be awarded for best-dressed.

Austintown: Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, will have a kids harvest party from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be games, food, hayrides and a trunk or treat. For kids under 12 with parent or guardian.

Poland: Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, will have a trunk-or-treat event from 5:40 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. There will be treats, pumpkin decorating, games, doughnuts and cider. Free. In inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the church.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Leetonia: Leetonia library, 181 Walnut St., will have a Touch-a-Truck trick-or-treat event from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. For school-age children. Costumes encouraged. There will be a craft and story time at 1. Vehicles on display will include a farm tractor, tanker truck, school bus and more. Refreshments provided by Friends of the Library.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

Niles: The Niles Halloween parade is at 1 p.m. Sunday in the city’s downtown.

Niles: New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., will have a trunk-or-treat event Sunday. It will begin immediately after the close of the Niles Halloween parade and continue to 4 p.m.

Warren: Warren’s Halloween parade will take place at noon Sunday. For information, call 330-841-2584.
