The Poland Junior Women’s Club and Poland Seminary High School Leadership Group are sponsoring a Halloween carnival from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the cafeteria at McKinley Elementary, 7 Elm St.

Children in preschool through second grade, accompanied by an adult, are invited to arrive in costume to enjoy doughnuts, cider, games, crafts and costume parade. For information on PJWC and upcoming events, visit www.pjwc.org.

Date correction for turkey dinner

POLAND

Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, will have a turkey dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6. The wrong date was included in Wednesday’s Food Sales and Dinners listing.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12. Tickets are on sale at the church from 8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and also will be available at the door. For information call Connie at 330-757-1553.
