Death ruling pending

WARREN

Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, Trumbull county coroner, says the autopsy on the body of Samuel LaPolla, 62, who died in a trailer fire Tuesday on King’s Drive in Newton Township, showed no indications of foul play.

Dr. Germaniuk said he will wait to rule on the cause and manner of death until after toxicology results are provided in about two months and for the State Fire Marshal’s Office to complete its investigation into the cause of the fire.

LaPolla was found dead in a bedroom in the middle of his trailer, and his dog was found dead near the front door of the trailer after firefighters extinguished the fire.
