Opposed to Issue 3

At a special meeting Wednesday, the Youngstown City District Board of Health voted unanimously to maintain its opposition to the promotion, sale and legalization of recreational marijuana, which will be on the Nov. 3 ballot as state Issue 3.

YOUNGSTOWN

Jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday night found Robert Sutherland, 42, of Helena Avenue, guilty of felonious assault with a firearm specification and not guilty of a count of aggravated assault.

Jurors reached their verdict at 6:40 p.m. in the courtroom of Judge Shirley J. Christian.
