JEFFERSON
The Bulldogs won a sectional championship by outlasting the host Falcons in four games. Jensen Silbaugh had 19 kills, Annie Pavlansky had 18 and Maddie Buch had 15. Laney Lytle had 10 points and 39 assists and Addie Becker had eight blocks. No statistics were reported for Jefferson. Lakeview (21-3) will meet top-seeded Mentor Lake Catholic in a district semifinal at 5 p.m. on Monday. The district final is set for Wednesday

BELOIT
The Quakers won a sectional final and eliminated the Indians from tournament play. Megan Payich led Girard with nine points, Carlie Angelo had eight kills and Makayla Trebella had seven kills and 18 digs. Melanie Bakes added 23 assists and Lorren Alejars had 13 digs. Sydney Teter had four blocks. No stats were reported for Salem.

Cardinal Mooney 25-25-25, East Palestine 15-18-17
SALEM
Maddie Abrigg made 15 kills for the Cardinals (18-5). Autumn Desantis made nine kills and seven blocks while Lauren Markovich contributed 10 kills and three aces. Maria Pelini made 21 assists. For the Bulldogs, Jessica Leake and Brysten Trosky each made five kills and Marlaina Frye made eight assists and scored four points. In the district semifinals on Monday at Salem High School, Mooney will play Crestview.

For the Rebels (12-11), Brooke Harper made 16 digs and 14 kills and scored seven points with three aces. Natasha Salmen made 28 digs and scored four points with one ace while Sierra Rance scored 10 points and made two blocks, two kills and 17 digs. MacKenzi Daub made 19 kills and four blocks. Julianne Poynter made 30 assists and nine digs. For the Blue Devils, Kimmi Wiggers made 22 kills and 11 digs while Karlee Pezzano made 37 assists and six digs. Hannah Hiscox made seven kills and 11 digs.

COLUMBIANA
Abby Smalley had 15 points and eight kills and Hannah Brothers had 11 points and 30 assists to lead the Indians (23-1) to a sectional title. Lizzie Willis had 13 kills, Anna Sevek had eight kills and eight blocks — four for kills — and Alivia Brothers added 14 digs. Southern will meet Western Reserve in a district semifinal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson-Milton was led by Emily Williams (11 points), Sierra Huff (seven kills, six blocks), Amy Ritchie (seven kills, three blocks) and Julissa Tomaino (16 assists).

COLUMBIANA
Sydney Miller led the Blue Devils with 10 kills and Lizzy Bowman had 24 points and six aces as Western Reserve won a sectional title. Tiana Nicopolis added 20 assists, Jenny Stubbs had 11 digs and Lainie Grope had four blocks. No stats were reported for Lake Center Christian. The Blue Devils will meet Southern in a district semifinal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mark Fusillo and Gianni Quattro each scored two goals and Patrick Conway had one to give Ursuline the edge in a shootout Tuesday. Alden Sexton scored two goals and Ben Rubinic and Khaled Kassem each added one in the Eagles’ loss.

CORTLAND
Rachel Braunegg scored four goals and Reagan Rosenberger had three to power the Bulldogs (14-3) past the Wildcats. Emma Rogers, Sam Yanci, Mara Wilson, Bethany Hayes, Kayli Hunt, Hope Klatka and Hope Churle also scored goals for Lakeview. Haylee Mathews had four assists, Sam Yanci had two and Rosenberger, Rogers, Hunt, Braunegg and Jackie Smith each had one. Miranda Meffe had a save for Lakeview and Elisa Ferguson had eight saves for Struthers. On Tuesday, the Bulldogs will meet winner of today’s sectional final between Howland and Poland in a district semifinal.
