EOCA plans spaghetti dinner and raffle
YOUNGSTOWN
The Eastern Orthodox Clergy Association is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner and Thanksgiving raffle from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave.
The meal will include homemade sauce and meatballs, salad, dessert and beverage.
A freewill offering will be accepted.
The EOCA includes all of the canonical Orthodox Christian churches in the Mahoning Valley and focuses on social outreach, philanthropy and youth ministry.
Donations for the raffle and dinner are needed by Sunday.

Music teachers to host recital Sunday
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Music Teachers Association will host an honors recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the north annex of the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave.
Young pianists from the Youngstown area will perform; they are Hayden Coxson, Christina Kim, Elliott Kim, Jessica Lee, Sasha Petrochko, Jacob Rizer, Julia Sansoterra, Anna Shevock accompanied by Fran Shevock, Gabriella Smallwood, and Yiwen Wang.
Teachers represented at the event include Sean Baran, Rick Barber, Fanny DiDomenico, Dolores Hansley, Alison Morris and Nelya Stefanides.
The recital is free and open to the public.
Craft show canceled
YOUNGSTOWN
St. Mary Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., is canceling its Holiday Craft Show that was planned for Nov. 7.
The $30 cost for vendors will be returned to those who have already paid.
