‘Star Wars’ movie tickets are on sale for Valley

The much-anticipated new “Star Wars” movie will hit theaters Dec. 17, but tickets already are on sale at area theaters.

To keep up with demand, Mahoning Valley multiplexes will devote several screens to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Regal 10 in Austintown will have as many as eight screenings per day Dec. 17, plus three more for the 3-D version. The screenings will be at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., with 3-D screenings at 7:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight.

At Regal in Niles, opening evening screenings will be at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., 10:10 p.m. and 11:10 p.m., with 3-D screenings at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10:10 p.m. and 11:10 p.m.

Tinseltown in Boardman show times will be 7 p.m., 9:20 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 12:50 a.m.; 3-D screenings will be 8:10 p.m. and 11:40 p.m.

Tickets for all showings can be purchased at the box office and at online sites such as fandango.com.
