Thefts from Hubbard travel center reported

Township police are investigating the theft of more than $1,000 of items from Love's Travel Center on North Main Street. The store's manager reported to police that a group of about six men and women had entered the store Saturday and stole more than 35 items within a 17-minute time period. The manager said one of the woman distracted the cashier by walking back and forth from the cooler to the cash register with beverages, which she paid for in cash.
