Mercy Health Youngstown, formerly Humility of Mary Health Partners, is having a career fair for immediate openings at its long-term care and assisted-living residences from 8 a.m. to noon Monday in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, 8401 Market St.
Full- and part-time positions are available for licensed practical nurses and state-tested nurse assistants at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road, Austintown, and The Assumption Village and Marian Living Center, 9800 Market St., North Lima.

Northside career fair

Northside Medical Center is hosting a career fair for registered nurses Wednesday in Politis Auditorium, located on the ground floor of Medical Office Building A at the hospital.
RNs are encouraged to stop by between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to learn about opportunities Northside has to offer, including variable shifts, sign-on bonuses, tuition reimbursement and health benefits.
Newly graduated and graduating RNs are welcome to attend and interview with the nurse management team. Qualified candidates will be selected that day to join the staff.

Hearing for Holidays

The Centers for Hearing Care is seeking local hearing-impaired candidates, who are in financial crisis, to participate in the Centers’ 2015 Hearing for the Holidays mission. Potential candidates must contact Centers for Hearing Care before Dec. 1 by calling 330-779-8090.
Selected candidates receive custom-made and fitted hearing aids, audiological testing, a limited supply of batteries, and education and instruction on operation and care of their new hearing devices, said Dr. Sheryl Figliano, doctor of audiology and owner of Centers for Hearing Care and co-founder of the Hearing for the Holidays mission.
Candidates can be any age. Selection and eligibility are based primarily on financial need.
Suicide Survivors

The 17th annual candlelight vigil is at 6 p.m. Nov. 21 on National Suicide Survivors Awareness Day at Victory Christian Center, Warren Campus, 4257 Tod Ave. N.W.
The vigil is in remembrance of loved ones who died by suicide. Anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide is welcome and encouraged to bring photos or signs.

Beginning yoga
