Austintown police arrest Mineral Ridge man in OVI incident

AUSTINTOWN — A Mineral Ridge man is charged with a felony count of operating a vehicle while impaired.

Township police allege that Christopher Bowman, 45, caused an accident on South Four Mile Run at Mahoning Avenue Saturday while he was impaired.

Bowman reportedly struck a vehicle stopped at a traffic light.

The charge was elevated to a felony due to a prior OVI conviction, according to a police report.
