The Youngstown Business Incubator will have a Murder Mystery event on Saturday at the old Vindicator building — a 57,000-square-foot facility constructed in 1931 at 29 Vindicator Square.

There are two times for the Murder Mystery event: 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

In addition to the Murder Mystery, there will be a photo booth, virtual-reality demos, 3-D printing and facility tours, as well as food stations, beer, wine and soda. The cost is $50 per ticket. To register, go to eventbrite.com.

Leadership program

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and Ratliff & Taylor, a large talent-management firm, will partner to present the leadership development program “Emotional Intelligence and 21st Century Leadership” on Oct. 30 at the Holiday Inn Express, 5555 Cerni Place.

The program will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. Participants are encouraged to continue to explore what they’ve learned.

Reservations are required by Oct. 26. Cost is $145 for chamber members and $200 for nonchamber members/guests.

‘Shop Small, Win Big’

COLUMBIANA

The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will host ”Shop Small, Win Big” during the month of November.

Participants are encouraged to shop at any local business in the 44408 ZIP code, save their receipts, complete the envelope provided and submit the envelope containing the receipts to the chamber office by noon Dec. 4.

Three prizes will be awarded: first place will receive $500; second place will receive $250; and third place will receive $100. Winners will be determined by the largest number of 44408 businesses patronized.

MYCAP sessions

The Mahoning-Youngs-town Community Action Partnership, 1325 Fifth Ave., at the corner of Broadway and Fifth,, has scheduled the dates and times of their information sessions for their next Workforce Development Program of 2015. They are 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday.

The information sessions give an outline of what is covered in the class, details of the program and what is expected from each participant. Candidates interested in the Oct. 28 class must attend only one of the informational sessions. Class space is limited.
