Family gathering celebrates Timko 60th

YOUNGSTOWN

The 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Timko of Youngstown was celebrated Oct. 17 at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Tim and Laura Timko of Powell, Ohio.

Also hosting were the couple’s other sons, Len Timko of Dayton and Ken Timko of Cincinnati.

The former Mary Ann Kovacs and Mr. Timko were married Oct. 22, 1955, at St. Brendan Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Timko owned a pharmacy in Warren. She was a pharmacy technician and retired in 1996. He was the pharmacist and retired in 1996.

Mr. Timko graduated from Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy.

The couple are members of St. Christine Church, where they belong to the Infant of Prague Guild.

Mrs. Timko also is a member of Rock Ridge Ladies Golf League.

Mr. Timko served as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy.

The family circle includes five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
