Cortland Dixieland Band will kick off concert series

GREENVILLE, PA.

The Cortland Dixie Band of Cortland, Ohio, will open the Friends of Music at Holy Trinity concert season on Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, corner of Penn Avenue and Clinton Street.

The Cortland Dixieland Band was started by Garey Watson in 2011 as a splinter group of the Cortland Community Band.

It performs traditional and more modern Dixieland music for concerts, festivals, nursing homes and various other functions in the area.

The concert is free and open to the public. An opportunity for a free-will offering will be provided.
