Museum tours to end for season

The final day of Sunday tours of the Salem Historical Museum will be Oct. 25.

The museum at 208 S. Broadway Ave. is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. The last tour of the day starts at 3:30 p.m.

The exhibits include an 1890s Victorian parlor, early school room with Salem school desks, doctor’s office, country kitchen, Ponderosa Park memorabilia, Salem athletics, military and Salem barber shop.

Gerry Sullivan has recently donated her late husband’s drawing board, which he used to draw and paint many of the artworks that are displayed throughout the city.

She will be at the museum Sunday and Oct. 25 between 2 and 3 p.m. to share memories and answer questions about her husband, Ed, who was a syndicated newspaper cartoonist.
