Mahoning Ave. closed downtown this morning after crash

YOUNGSTOWN

A car collided with a pole and a fire hydrant downtown, after the driver lost control around 9 this morning.

Officials closed a portion of Mahoning Avenue near where the crash occurred due to low-hanging wires.

No other information was available late today.
