NEWTON FALLS

Summer Fassnacht had five digs, four assists, and one block for Champion. In addition, Ashley Naylor had 12 digs and one ace, and Morgan Tenney had eight digs for Champion. For Newton (22-0), Gabby Kline had 16 kills and 12 points, Kate Wainwright had 30 assists, Natalie Georgalas had nine digs and 11 points.

Makayla Trebella had seven kills, eight digs, and one ace, Megan Payich had nine digs and six service points, and Sydney Teter had two blocks for Girard. For the Spartans, Hayley Eicher had nine kills and one block, Katie Platt had 30 assists, seven digs, four kills, and three aces, and Krista Johnson had eight kills and eight digs. JV: Boardman 2-0.

CANFIELD

Lindsay Druschell had 25 assists, five points, and one ace for Springfield. Brooke Bullen contributed 12 points and one ace, and Caitlyn Cyrus also contributed seven kills and five blocks for Springfield. For South Range, Lynnie Ritter had 10 kills, one dig, two aces, and two points, Emily Moretti had seven kills, eight digs, two aces, and nine points, and Eliza Garlough had 12 digs, one ace, and 14 points. Sydney Smith had four points, one ace, and three kills, Murphy Flowers had three kills and eight digs, and Lisa Cathey had seven assists for Sebring. For the Bluejays, Kailtyn Totani had 20 points and five aces, Julissa Tomaino had 14 points, four aces, and 15 assists, and Sierra Huff had 15 kills. JV: Jackson-Milton 2-0.

LABRAE

Goals for Poland were scored by Joe Shields (2), Matthew Holsinger, Marcus Trevis, Jake Buccieri, and Reed McCreery. Trevis and Holsinger also had assists for the Bulldogs. Their goalkeeper, Bryan Montgomery, had five saves. LaBrae’s goalkeeper, Brandon Lomax, had four saves on the night.

CAMPBELL

Ben Rubinic, Aiden Sexton, Khaled Kassem, Bashar Rasoul, Saki Atsas, and Alex Sinopoli all scored once for Hubbard (6-5-3). Aone with Kassem, Nikolas Dowell and Mike Van Such contributed assists. Both Jake Shaffer and Dominic Weser played in the net for Hubbard, with three and two saves respectively. For Campbell, Tristan Kendall had 11 saves.

Carol Kay led the Cardinals with two goals, and Lexy Herman tacked on one more goal. For the Spartans, Sara Downie and Cara Higgins each had one goal.

For the Lady Cardinals, Anita Mancini scored two goals off of assists by Cheyenne Story. Alana Petracci also scored a goal with an assist from Haylee Klacik for the Cardinals. Goalkeeper Olivia VanDevender had seven saves. Mentor’s goalkeeper had four saves.
