Miss Zocolo, Mr. Rodriguez to wed in Florida

Julia Ann Zocolo and Jaime Andre Rodriguez, both of Miami, are engaged and will wed on Oct. 17.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Thomas Zocolo of Boardman and Anna Zocolo of Liberty. The prospective groom is the son of Jaime Rodriguez and Marlen Parra of Bogota, Colombia.

The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. at St. Hugh’s Catholic Church, and a reception will follow at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, both in Coconut Grove, Fla.

Miss Zocolo earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation management from Ohio University and master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.

She is an administrative assistant at getabstract Inc. in Aventura, Fla.

Mr. Rodriguez received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida International University and a master’s degree in international business from Nova.

He is a business development associate at Colliers International in Miami.
