CLASSES

The Rayen School Class of 1959 will meet for its monthly luncheon at noon Wednesday at Stonebridge Grille & Tavern, 1497 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. All classmates are welcome.

South High School Alumni Association will meet at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Perkins Restaurant at the corner of South Avenue and Route 224. Note the change in location.

Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg. At the 7 p.m. meeting the group will review participation in the Alzheimer’s and diabetes walks, finalize nominations for officers and trustee, and Dave Nelson from the Mahoning County Dog Warden will speak. Youngstown Chapter of Torch Clubs International will meet for a dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at Kilcawley Center, Bresnahan Rooms 1 and 2, on campus at Youngstown State University. Club member Flora Paymer will speak on her paper, “The Amazon: Importance to the World; and Childhood Memories.” The public is invited. A social hour begins at 5:30, and the lecture will be at 7. Youngstown Council of Catholic Nurses will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. The business meeting will include the election of officers and a discussion of future programs.

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County meets at 6 p.m. each Wednesday at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Guests and new members are welcome. This week’s speaker will be Jason Pavone of the Mahoning County Foster Parent Association.

Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will gather at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the ministry building at St. Charles Church, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. Dr. Marcelle Wilson of the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor will present a program, “Shout Youngstown! SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St., and 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine Family Center, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton.
