The Warren Ski Club will host a benefit wine and beer tasting event, “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 24 at McMenamy’s Banquet Center, 325 Youngstown-Warren Road.
The event will include wine, beer, dinner, raffles and entertainment by the Dickey White Band.
Guests that take a canned food item for Second Harvest Food Bank will receive an additional taste.

Garden Forum sets holiday program
YOUNGSTOWN
Garden Forum of Youngstown will sponsor a holiday program Nov. 7 in the Rossi Room in the lower level of the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Registration is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. with the program to follow.
Dan Yoho of Davey Tree will discuss how to winterize trees and shrubs. Lunch catered by A La Cart Catering will begin at 11:30 a.m.
At 1 p.m. Jenny Wehr of Willows by Wehr will demonstrate designing fall and Christmas arrangements. Silk centerpieces will be available to buy, and there will be a basket raffle.
Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Registration is due by Oct. 28 at the forum office, 123 McKinley Ave. St. Michael Garden Guild is hosting.

Eagles auxiliary to celebrate anniversary

Girard Eagle’s Auxiliary 2172 will celebrate its 67th anniversary with a dinner at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at Girard Eagles Aerie 2172, 26 W. Wilson Ave. Past presidents are invited to attend.
Those attending are asked to take a covered dish and the club will provide the meat.
