Girard school bus hits armored truck

A school bus hit an armored truck at about 8:25 a.m. today in Liberty Township, injuring no one and causing slight damage to the bus. The Liberty Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the collision, which occurred at Tibbets Wick and Shannon roads. There were eight to 10 elementary school children on board, Fire Captain Bill Opsitnik said. Another bus arrived to transport the children to school.
