Boar’s Head Group of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $8. No reservations are necessary. Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Donations will be accepted to continue the program.

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Boardman, will serve dinners of beef tips and noodles from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals of Angus beef tips, homestyle noodles, corn, roll with butter and a homemade cookie sell for $8 and are takeout only. FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Phone orders may be made from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at beginning at 8 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for freshly made each week potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6.50 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will offer a turkey dinner sponsored by its United Methodist Women from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, bread, dessert and beverage. Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for ages 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and under. Carryout is available. Proceeds benefit UMW mission projects. For information call 330-637-2571.

Richard Brown United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm St., Youngstown, will host a Mexican food pile-on church dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.

Southington American Legion Post 751, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will have a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4.50 for children under 12. Meals include Swiss steak in gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, vegetable, drink and dessert. Takeouts are available.

Western Reserve Masonic Lodge, 216 E. Main St., West Farmington, will have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatball dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. The meal includes salad, bread, pie, coffee and lemonade. St. Stanislaus Catholic War Veterans Post 1222 Auxiliary will serve stuffed cabbage dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown. The meal will include two cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and butter and dessert. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 10. Takeouts are available.

TUESDAY

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will have a drive-through stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. The dinner includes twice-baked potato, vegetable, garlic bread, salad and cookie. Kids’ meals consist of chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and a kid’s bag with dessert, prize, crayons and coloring page. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids.

TAKING ORDERS

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, is taking orders for homemade apple dumplings. To place an order, call Dale at 330-549-5106 or the church 549-2588 and provide name, quantity, if the dumplings should be baked or unbaked, and a phone number. Cost is $2.95 per dumpling. A portion of profits benefit local mission projects. The dumplings can be picked up from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 24. Walk-ins will be honored if available.
