Rachel Bloom shines as a successful, but unhappy, New York lawyer who moves across the country to win back her former summer camp sweetheart. Oh, and she breaks into song every now and then.

“Fargo” (10 p.m., FX): How do you improve upon near perfection? “Fargo,” one of last year’s most impressive TV achievements, tries to do just that with a whole new story, new time period and a great new cast that includes Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Jesse Plemons, Jean Smart and Ted Danson. Game developers program at museum

YOUNGSTOWN

Members of Youngstown Game Developers will present a one-hour program at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonough Museum of Art, 525 Wick Ave.

Kendra Corpier, Bill Jones and Andrew Pavlick are game designers and developers as well as co-organizers of the YGD.

Corpier is a professional graphic designer by day and professional indie game developer by night. She is the founder of Eimear Studios. With her indie studio, she creates, designs, produces and publishes her games, from concept to finish.

Jones is a professional software engineer with a passion for game development. He has presented at the indie mega booth at PAX East.

Pavlick’s experience encompasses everything from real-time graphics to 3-D printing. He was a co-founder of Enyx Studios and currently operates his own business, Create a Andrew Pavlick.

The YGD will present a 48-hour Game Jam April 1-3 at the McDonough. Call the museum for information.

Fall Fire Fest at YSU with Nashville acts

YOUNGSTOWN

The third annual Fall Fire Fest at Youngstown State University will be Thursday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Green on Grant, corner of Grant Street and Ford Avenue.

It is presented by Penguin Productions in conjunction with YSU’s 75th Homecoming celebration. The event will feature live music by two Nashville-based acts: the Vespers and Jordan DePaul, a bonfire, food and drink vendors, and a pep rally. Admission is free to the public.

Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank. YSU students who donate canned goods will be entered into drawings. The university express shuttle will make additional stops at the event site between 7 and 11:15 p.m.
