Tabitha Goist, Brian Charles plan to marry

Tabitha Goist and Brian Charles, together with their families, are announcing their engagement and upcoming Oct. 24 wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Roselyn Gelsomino and the late Lawrence Goist. He is the son of Mary Charles and the late John Charles. All are of Girard.

The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m. in Christman Hall and a reception will follow in the Grand Ballroom, both at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. Invitations were issued for the events.

Miss Goist earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University. She is a case manager at Trumbull County Job and Family Services in Warren.

Mr. Charles attended Youngstown Fire Academy and earned his emergency medical technician certification from YSU and paramedic certification from Eastern Gateway Community College. He is a full-time firefighter with the Youngstown Fire Department and a part-time firefighter and paramedic with the Canfield Fire Department.
