Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God and senior spinning at 9, monthly membership meeting at 9:30, piloxing, bingo, painting class, beginner computer class and quilting at 10, lunch and advanced computer class at noon; Tuesday, active exercise and pilates at 8 a.m., video class: thermodynamics at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, bingo, quilting and beginner computer class at 10, line dancing at 10:30, chair yoga at 11:30, lunch and Windows 10 class at noon, advisory council meeting at 12:30 p.m. and AARP choir at 1; Wednesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God, blood pressure checks and trip to TOPS in Cleveland at 9, intermediate computer class, bingo, quilting and body pump at 10, senior spinning at 10:30, yoga at 11, advanced computer class at 11:30 and $3 pizza party at noon; Thursday, active exercise at 8 a.m., video class: inventions that changed the world at 8:50, vets helping vets and wood carving at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, chair yoga, quilting and crocheting at 10, knitting at 11 and lunch and bingo at noon; and Friday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God, video class: western civilizations and senior spinning (S) at 9, senior spinning (E) at 9:30, bingo and quilting at 10, Drums Alive at 10:15 and lunch and learn: health care reform at 11:30. Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer program of Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. Angel volunteers receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. Angels also are involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference day projects. The next meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 N. River Road, Warren. Reservations are necessary for the dinner at 5 p.m., which costs $6.50 per person.
