Spagnolas celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. John Spagnola of Poland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary during a celebration at Bogey’s Riverside Banquet Center in Lowellville. Invitations were extended by the hosts.
The former Phyllis Lewis and Mr. Spagnola exchanged marriage vows Oct. 22, 1955, in Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Spagnola is a homemaker.
Mr. Spagnola retired from Sears Roebuck and Co., where he was an associate manager. He served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Hornet.
The couple are parents of Cynthia (Mark) Long and Patricia Craft, all of Poland; Joanne (Ron) Fisher of Struthers; and Diane Spangola of Canfield. The family circle includes seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
