Trancendental Interest Group will have its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The meeting will evaluate the pursuit of happiness and recent psychological study on pathways to well-being, based on a DVD series by Dr. Ronald D. Siegel, professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and University of Massachusetts Medical School. Attendees are encouraged to take a notebook and pen and will participate in a meditation exercise. The group is for those interested in exploring the inner way of knowing. Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at Beard Cabin in Boardman Park. Program will be “Tussies for Christmas”; take a glue gun, wire and scissors to help make tussies for St. James Church. Officers will be nominated.
