Aggravated menacing case in Struthers reset for Jan. 14

The pretrial for Gust Mamounis, 38, of Struthers has been reset for Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. Mamounis is charged with aggravated menacing after allegedly following a group of children and threatening them with a gun.

Struthers Judge James E. Lanzo has recused himself from the case, citing conflict of interest. Mamounis has done construction for Lanzo's brother-in-law, Lanzo said. The Ohio Supreme Court will appoint a visiting judge to hear the case.
