‘Stop meeting them’
WARREN
A man reported that he was robbed by two men with bandannas over their faces and a gun in the 1900 block of West Market Street at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. The man, 49, of Warren, said he met a woman he met on Facebook in the parking lot of a business and had sex with her in his truck for $250. The woman said she would have more sex with him for $150 more, so he went to an ATM machine and withdrew the money and returned. The woman got back in the truck and took the $150, but then the two males opened the passenger door, pulled him out, pointed a gun at him and demanded money. He gave them $100, and they left. The victim drove to the police station to report it and was advised “to stop meeting people like this.”

Home invasion
BROOKFIELD
Three people will be arraigned today in Eastern District Court here on charges related to a home-invasion robbery on Syme Street in Masury early Tuesday in which the victim was threatened with a knife and suffered a cut that required stitches. Sade N. Tibbs, 19, of Iowa Street Northwest in Warren; Pabalo Valentin Jr. of Redford, Mich,; and Lamar Q. Holmes Jr., 20, of Tangent Street in Youngstown remain in the Trumbull County jail after being arrested during a 2:35 a.m. traffic stop Tuesday in Vienna. The three matched the description of the suspects in the robbery and had items with them matching those taken during robbery, police said. Each will be arraigned on single counts of felonious assault, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery. The victim, 18, knows Tibbs, who was visiting at his house when Valentin and Holmes entered the home, resulting in a struggle that involved broken glass and a mirror, said Brookfield Township Police Chief Dan Faustino. In the struggle, the victim suffered the cut and other injuries, Faustino said. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Child’s skull fractured
WARREN
Kayla Liller, 21, of Warren and East LaClede Avenue in Youngstown, was sentenced to seven years in prison Wednesday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty earlier to two counts of child endangering for injuring her boyfriend’s daughter, age 4.
Liller’s boyfriend, Tedy Mendez II, 25, of Laird Avenue Southeast and Western Reserve Place in Austintown, received the same prison sentence earlier and pleaded guilty to the same offenses. Gabe Wildman, assistant Trumbull County prosecutor, said the girl suffered a skull fracture, broken arm, and bruising “from head to toe” while under the supervision of Mendez and Liller. “We felt she was as culpable, if not more, culpable than Tedy,” Wildman said, adding that Liller admitted to slamming the child’s head into the corner of a wall. That is believed to be the reason the child had a skull fracture, Wildman said.
