Tamron Hall likely to replace Cosby on Temple board

PHILADELPHIA

Temple University trustees are expected to vote next week on naming NBC correspondent Tamron Hall to fill a seat on the board vacated by Bill Cosby last year.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that board chairman Patrick O’Connor said the 1992 Temple grad has the support she needs for approval. Trustees are to vote Tuesday.

Hall grew up in Texas and joined NBC in 2007. She currently hosts an hour of the “Today” show.

Cosby resigned from the board in December after renewed allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted women over many years. He’s never been charged with a crime.
