Youngstown cops to victim: 'Stop meeting people like this'

A man reported that he was robbed by two men with bandanas over their faces and a gun in the 1900 block of West Market Street at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The man, 49, of Warren, said he met a woman he met on Facebook in the parking lot of a business and had sex with her in his truck for $250. The woman said she would have more sex with him for $150 more, so he went to an ATM machine and withdrew the money and returned.

The woman got back in the truck and took the $150, but then the two males opened the passenger door, pulled him out, pointed a gun at him and demanded money. He gave them $100, and they left.

The victim drove to the police station to report it and was advised “to stop meeting people like this.”
