Girard man jailed on rape and sexual imposition charges

GIRARD

A 35-year-old man is being held in Trumbull County jail on charges of rape and gross sexual imposition. Girard police arrested Jeffrey Hallock, 35, of Girard on Thursday after a grand jury indicted him on a first-degree felony charge of rape and a third-degree felony charge of gross sexual imposition. Hallock is alleged to have an inappropriately touched an 8-year-old girl, who was his neighbor, on three separate occasions, according to a police report.

He will appear in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas on Oct. 15 for a pretrial hearing.
