BOARDMAN

A township woman is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend.

Charged is Danielle Wilson, 38, of Lemans Drive.

Police were dispatched to the Lemans Drive apartment late Monday after Wilson called 911 saying she had stabbed her boyfriend, according to a police report.

Police located the victim, who at first tried to deny that Wilson had stabbed him, and reportedly observed wounds on his arms and a "large stab wound" on his chest.

Police found blood stains on the outside of the apartment complex, in the hallway and on the railing leading up to the apartment, according to the report.

The fire department and an ambulance also responded.

The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth's Youngstown Hospital. He was in stable condition when police interviewed him at the hospital, according to the report.
