Police investigating apparent shooting on the South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Police say a man is being treated for a gunshot wound at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

A spokesman said the man got to the hospital early this afternoon and said he was shot somewhere on the South Side.

Detectives are on their way to the hospital to interview the man, the spokesman said.
