Crumbles Bakery to offer Octoberfest

Crumbles Bakery, 5512 Youngstown-Poland Road, will host its third annual Octoberfest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature seasonal food and baked goods, face painting, pumpkin painting, a dunking booth and vendors.
Individuals from the No Limits Day Program at Turning Point Residential Inc. have created fall decorations that will be available at the event. All proceeds will benefit No Limits, which trains individuals to work independently in the community.
Solace to raise funds to fight addiction

Solace of the Valley, a nonprofit organization focusing on awareness and education for recovery from drug addiction, will have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Fellowship Church, 4749 South Ave.

Fall Festival set at Croatian Center

St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, will host its fourth annual Croatian Fall Festival on Saturday. Doors will open at noon. The Veseli Tamburitzans will entertain from 1 to 5 p.m., and a basket auction and 50-50 raffle will be offered. The cost is $3.
Vendors will sell frozen strudels, kolbasi, Amish canned items, egg noodles and autumn decorations. A bake sale will have strudel, cheese gibanica, pumpkin desserts, and chocolate and caramel apples. A “food to go” for takeout will include frozen cevapcici, sarma, chicken paprikash, chicken noodle soup, bean and sauerkraut soup, and haluski. Preorders will be accepted for the decorations and food-to-go items by calling 330-788-2154.
Citizens association offers Amish dinner

The North Jackson Citizens Association is sponsoring an Amish dinner on Saturday at the Jackson Township administration building, 10613 Mahoning Ave. There will be seatings at 4 and 6 p.m., and reservations are required; call 330 509-8448. The menu includes roast beef, baked chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, bread, green beans and coleslaw. Pies will be served for dessert.
Proceeds will benefit the association’s electronic digital sign project. The group aims to publicize local activities to the community with the sign.
