Mr., Mrs. Schauer mark 50th at family gathering

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Maria and Frank Schauer of Beaver Township celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering July 4 at Fair Park Hall in Canfield. It was hosted by Jennifer and James Schauer.

Their children are Frank (Elizabeth) Schauer Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla., Miklos (Nicole) Schauer of Akron, Randy (Carol) Schauer of Columbus and James (Jennifer) Schauer of Columbiana. The family includes 13 grandchildren.

Mr. Schauer and the former Maria Aczel were married Oct. 2, 1965, at St. Stephen of Hungary Church in Youngstown, where they are members.

Mrs. Schauer is a homemaker. Her husband retired in 2002 from Marlboro Manufacturing in Alliance, where he worked as an engineer. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

The couple are members of Youngstown American Hungarian Club.
