YOUNGSTOWN

The Leadership Mahoning Valley Class of 2016 includes 24 local leaders across a variety of industries.

Leadership Mahoning Valley welcomed its class of 2016 in late September at a breakfast at The Holiday Inn in Boardman.

Leadership Mahoning Valley is a regional leadership organization composed of representatives from the area’s business, education, media, government, law enforcement, arts, health care, public service, nonprofit and faith communities.

Since 1984, LMV has identified people with diverse backgrounds and experience who have leadership potential and a commitment to their communities.

Over a nine-month period, class members attend daylong sessions that focus on major community systems such as education, health care, human service, heritage, government, justice, labor, business, poverty and diversity. The class concludes with a graduation dinner.
