Horrible decisions behind NFL misery

Horrible decisions behind NFL misery

Dear Sports Editor:

Why, why, why are the Browns so bad?

Being a lifetime Browns fan, I need to vent my frustrations.

First you need a new coach with experience as a head coach and a winning record.

Second you need a new GM. Why did they not draft a TE and WR early? You must have good skill players, not undraftable, washed-up backups and two-time steroid users with big contracts.

Why are they allergic to Ohio State players? Didn’t they win the championship last year? Why not draft Carlos Hyde? Why isn’t Johnny Manziel starting over an old backup with a 1-10 record last year? Why did they change uniforms? Logo-less = brain-less. I would’ve liked to see a white helmet with Brownie logo on the side. Tradition?

I’ll be 60 in December and I don’t remember the 1964 champs. I was 9 years old. I hate to jinx them but if Ezekiel Elliott is available next year, I can see them passing on him. Julino Jones just signed $70 million contact. We traded down for Phil Taylor and Brandon Weeden and both are gone. These mistakes happen over and over.

Like our motto says — wait ’til next year. I believe I could do a better job picking players. I’d like to see us win a Super Bowl before I kick the bucket, but until they draft better and coach better, forget it. Common sense use it! Ben Roethlisberger or Kellen Windslow Jr.? LeSean McCoy or David Veikune?
