Ellwood City farmer's market season extended a week

ELLWOOD CITY, PA.

The Ellwood City Revitalization’s EC Farmers’ Market, which was slated to end its season on Oct. 3, has extended the market for one week.

Continued success with fall crops, baked goods, poultry and beef has allowed vendors to participate.

The market will be open 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and vendors Sperdute’s Farms, 3D Farms, Katy’s Baked Goods, A1 Fudge, Awesome Acres and more will sell their goods.

Sperdute’s Farms and 3D Farms are now accepting vouchers as payment for fresh produce.

The market is located in the municipal parking lot on the 500 block of Beaver Avenue.
