Art show at mall gallery

The Community Artworks Regional Annual Artists Exhibition will open Sunday at Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall. The juried exhibit showcases work by artists living within a 50-mile radius, and runs through Nov. 8.

An opening reception will take place Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is $5. Mary Ann Breisch, executive director at Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls, juried the entries, awarding artists $675 in prize money. She chose the artwork and a tribute section, honoring artist Rochelle Ensor, who died last year.

The gallery in the JCPenney’s concourse. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
