Soap Gallery grand opening in downtown Youngstown is from 5 to 9 tonight

YOUNGSTOWN — The Soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion St., recently opened a 3,100-square-foot gallery space, and will have a grand-opening event from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight.

It is the only full-time, for-profit fine art gallery in downtown Youngstown since 1994.

The Soap Gallery’s inaugural opening features Youngstown area artists displaying a range of artistic styles.

Majority owners Stephen Poullas and Daniel Rauschenbach and minority owners Chris Yambar and Sarra M. Mohn renovated the space.

A second phase, scheduled for completion by January, will add a gift shop and pottery room.
