Cincy firefighters find 2 dead; homicide suspected

CINCINNATI (AP) — Firefighters responding to a call for medical assistance found two bodies inside a Cincinnati apartment home.

Cincinnati Police Capt. Jeff Butler tells WCPO-TV that the scene indicates “homicidal violence.” He says additional crime scene personnel and the county coroner were called to help investigate.

Authorities say a man and a woman were found dead after a late-night 911 call Thursday. They have been identified as 57-year-old Alma Jean Owens and 72-year-old Macarthur Jackson. Police haven’t released any other details.

The bodies were found in Evanston, the same neighborhood where four adults and a 3-year-old boy were wounded Monday in a drive-by shooting. Police haven’t identified any suspects.
