North of Madison assoc. plans 2-day celebration on Elm Street this weekend

YOUNGSTOWN

The North of Madison Avenue Association is having a two-day celebration including food and entertainment.

The group’s “Better Block Celebration” starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday with food and entertainment on Elm Street, just north of the Youngstown State University campus.

Activities including yoga, tai chi, a drum circle and belly dancing will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Also Saturday is a market featuring local makers and artists at 818 Elm St., the future site of a co-op grocery store.
