Holiday bash at museum

“Museum Merrymaking,” a festive holiday event, will take place Saturday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. Tickets are $25 and include a buffet dinner and music from the Take II Band. Tables of between four and 12 people can be accommodated, and larger groups can reserve multiple tables.

Proceeds will benefit the museum.

The buffet will include roast beef from the Mocha House, pasta with marinara and angel hair aioli from the Buena Vista Cafe, oven- browned potatoes and green beans almondine from the Sunrise Inn, a garden salad from the Saratoga Restaurant & Catering, along with bread and butter, coffee, tea and punch. The menu also includes a special dessert from the bakery at Inspired Catering by Kravitz.

The museum’s halls have been decked with boughs of holly and adorned with more than 20 Christmas trees decorated by community organizations.
