Jennifer Tomerlin and Jeff Thomas exchanged vows at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in Ann Christman Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium during a ceremony officiated by Mikel Lagaras. A reception followed in the auditorium’s Grand Ballroom.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce and Mark Tomerlin of Niles, and Carol and Gerald Thomas are parents of the groom, also of Niles.

Mrs. Thomas wore a silk gown designed with a mermaid silhouette that featured a beaded illusion scoop neckline and cap sleeves.

Maid of honor was Annie Lynch, and matron of honor was Ashley Trimble. Bridesmaids were Tanya Kissel; Brittany Trees; Lauren and Natalie Thomas, the groom’s sisters; and Audra Waters. The bride’s cousin, Addison Burcham, was flower girl. The attendants wore navy blue gowns.

Ryan Barrett served as best man, and groomsmen were Matt Tomerlin, the bride’s brother, and Kyle Leonard, Joe Skocik, Joe Sava, Brandon Miller and Patrick Fortune. Jackson Terlecky, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education. She is a financial-aid counselor at YSU.

Mr. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and a juris doctorate from Capital University Law School. He is an attorney in Warren.

The couple live in Niles.
