Family dinner celebrates Dovich 50th

LOWELLVILLE

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dovich of Lowellville hosted a dinner June 20 at Cafe 422 in Boardman to mark the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.

They are Susan and Gino Morell and Tracy and Rob Dovich. Seven grandchildren complete their family circle.

The former Jeanne Mediate married Mr. Dovich on June 19, 1965, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville, where they are members.

Mrs. Dovich was an elementary and special-education teacher for the Lowellville Board of Education and retired in 1998. She is a lector and eucharistic minister and member of the parish council at the church.

Mr. Dovich was an electrician for Enertech Corp. in Lowellville until retiring in 2001. He is a member of the Mahoning Sportsmen’s Club. He is a Navy veteran, having served from 1961 to 1965.
