Intoxication leads to intimidation and, ultimately, police intervention

STRUTHERS — A Poland man was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated early Thursday morning following a fight at La Villa Sports Bar and Grille on Youngstown Poland Road.

William Polis III, 32, of Poland was released after posting $100 bond and will be arranged Monday on the misdemeanor charge.

A police report states that Polis had a bloody nose from being struck with a beer bottle. A bar employee said another man hit Polis after Polis and his brother had intimidated the man and started an argument.

The report states that Polis was arrested after using profanity and not cooperating with police.
