Struthers woman shot, another in custody after Thanksgiving Day argument

A shooting around 2 p.m. today at a home on the 2500 block of East Midlothian Boulevard left one woman injured.

The 20-year-old victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for a non-life-threatening wound to her hip, Detective Jeff Lewis said.

Police have a detained a 29-year-old female suspect and are in the process of filing charges.

The two women had argued earlier in the day, Lewis said.
