Police probe robbery

Police probe robbery

LIBERTY

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man Monday night. A 25-year-old Cocca’s Pizza employee told police he was confronted after making an Oakland Drive delivery by a male with a ski mask pulled over his face. He took the worker’s car keys and about $65 in cash before ordering the worker to turn around and go back to the building where he had made the delivery, so he wouldn’t see the robber leave.

Austintown and Liberty police searched the area with police dogs and found a pizza bag that had been taken.

Woman faces charges

BOARDMAN

A township woman faces felonious assault and domestic violence charges after purportedly attacking a male victim with a steak knife.

Jennasa Moore, 24, of Shields Road, was arrested and taken to the Mahoning County jail Monday night.

The charges stem from an incident reported Sunday, when township police responded to the Shields Road residence for a domestic violence call. The victim told police that an argument started “over him coming home angry because Ohio State had lost,” according to a report.

Moore then attacked the victim with a knife she had been using to open a can of ravioli, he said; police reportedly observed injuries to his neck and hand.
