A grant written for the Mahoning County Juvenile Court will provide Boardman Local Schools with $3,000 for each school that participates in an early-warning system for at-risk students for the years 2015-2017. A story in Tuesday’s Vindicator incorrectly characterized how that program is funded.

Due to incorrect information published online by the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas, a story on page A8 of Monday’s Vindicator included incorrect information about a case in which Campbell Mayor-elect Nicholas Phillips is the defendant. The article should have stated that Phillips has not been indicted on any charges and that the only charge he currently faces is felonious assault.
